Let’s introduce you to the India Film Project. An annual largest content creation festival held in Mumbai, India that features its flagship 50 Hour Filmmaking Challenge, where participants are given 50 hours to make a film after which a panel of judges selects award winners.
The participants will Script, Shoot, Edit and Submit their films in a duration of just 50 hours. The team size can vary from 1 to 20 people. Teams can choose any one category to participate – Professional, Amateur or Mobile given by IFP. The theme will be revealed at the beginning of 50 hours on Sep 27, 8 pm.

What’s in it for you? Over 32,000 filmmakers from 28 countries participated in 2018 and made more than 1,500 short films in 50 hours, making the event a huge success and also the World’s Largest Filmmaking Challenge!
The Jury includes: Abhishek Chaubey (Udta Punjab, Sonchiriya, Ishqiya, Dedh Ishqiya) Anjali Menon (Manjadikuru, Bangalore Days, Koode), Pan Nalin (Samsara, Valley of Flowers, Angry Indian Goddesses) and Pradeep Sarkar (Parineeta, Mardaani, Helicopter Eela), one of the finest the industry has to offer.
This is not the end yet, winning films will be theatrically released in PVR Cinemas across Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad and Chandigarh, the Top 50 films will get a television release on MTV over a period of 6 months and the Winners will get a special one-on-one mentoring session with one jury member.
Apart from above, the winners will take home following prizes worth Rs. 10 Lacs.
