Bihar: Government Railway Police of Chappra Junction arrested a man identified as Sanjay Prasad for allegedly smuggling human corps internationally. They also discovered an international racket involved in smuggling human corps. The incident took place on Monday, 26th November 2018.

Sanjay was traveling in Balia-Sealdah Express and 16 human skulls and 34 femurs were recovered from his luggage. The police had earlier recovered skeletal remains from a train on October 12, 2018. According to a report by Indiatimes, Sanjay accepted that he was taking the consignments to Bhutan via Nepal and that he had done this twice before. He also confessed that these remains were brought from Balia in Uttar Pradesh and that they will be used for black magic and occult ritual purposes in Bhutan.

Prasad is arrested by the GRP of Chappra and his cell phone, ATM cards, Pan card, and other identification documents have been confiscated by the police. His documents also contain two voter identity cards of Siliguri and Paharpur.

He was caught while the police were patrolling for liquor smuggling near the inquiry counter. A report by TOI states that Sanjay had left his house 15 years back.

Smuggling of human corps is illegal and also inhumane. The practice of Black magic and its counterparts are superstitious activities that many of us often fall for. But smuggling human skulls and other parts of the human body for these kinds of practices is equivalent to losing humanity completely.
