All of us would agree what a war it is to cut 3 long hours from our everyday rush for a matinee show. But these short movies that are made over a span of just 50 hours would last as long as the coffee in your mug does. But the effect would be deep, prepare yourself. IFP rightly believes that short films are the future of Indian Cinema and the winning filmmakers prove that the future is indeed in safe hands. Much well wishes to all latent filmmakers!

What’re all the efforts without a little inspiration? To inspire the new talents and entertain its audience, IFP brought to the stage the most loved personalities from the various dimensions of performing arts. They’d their turns to open up to the audience and be vocal while answering all the conventional/unconventional questions that came their way.

To begin with Kartik Aryaan, our very own Sonu advised newer actors never to lose confidence and to keep working hard on themselves. BB ki Vines fame Bhuvan Bam didn’t shy away from sharing what pressure he’s going through and how much he values constructive criticism. Vicky Kaushal, who has movies like ‘Raazi’ and series like ‘Lust stories’ to his credit explained the audience the difference between being ‘impressed’ and ‘inspired’.

Want to know who else said what? Here is the compilation. Take a while to surf through them!

Those who won have indeed a long way to go for opportunities shall start flowing into their ways now on. And those who couldn’t make it this time, didn’t go empty hearted either.

The event was an overall blockbuster and The Indian Feed, the official online partner to IFP is overwhelmed to announce this!
