MUMBAI: Asia’s largest creation festival India Film Project marks its come back this October and for all the content creators, filmmakers, and art lovers, this is the place to be
India Film Project, since its birth in 2011, has been putting in efforts to build a community of content creators across the varying forms of art. They began with the 50-hour filmmaking challenge, one of a kind in Asia, wherein over 35,000 filmmakers come together in a selected weekend and put in their best efforts to shoot, edit, and present their film. The 50-hour filmmaking challenge is IFP’s cornerstone. Six years after its inception, IFP extended itself in other forms of art-mainly writing, designing, and storytelling.
IFP’s two-day creation festival at Mumbai invites speakers from different fields of art and to inspire the new talent and entertain its audience, IFP brings to the stage the most loved personalities from the various dimensions of performing arts.
IFP community now consists of over 5.5 Lacs content creators including filmmakers, writers, storytellers, designers, musicians, editors, photographers, cinematographers, vloggers and many more. More than 15,000 enthusiasts from over 40 cities attended IFP Season 8 at Mumbai in October 2018.

IFP is not only an event precisely about creating conversations and celebrating people, films, books, and music, but they also have sessions with the guests and the audience, workshops and masterclasses, the premiere of web shows and flea, food and drinks.
Last year artists like Vicky Kaushal, Bhuvan Bam, Kaneez Surka, Karthik Aryan, Ayushman Khurrana, Ali Fazal, Sona Mohapatra, Benny Dayal, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Vidya Vox and many more came in to collaborate, create and celebrate the festival.
Their sole motto is to showcase the talents of budding filmmakers across the globe. And this year, India Film Project is going to be even better and we are overwhelmed to be a part of such a huge success.
