South Africa: A man suspected of being a Rhino poacher was killed by Elephants and his remains were consumed by the Lions a week ago in The Kruger National Park.
As per reports, officials said that the rangers at the Park and members of the Park’s air wing found only a human skull and a pair of pants post a search party together.
Four accomplices of the deceased have been arrested and one of them claimed to his relatives that they were in the park Tuesday night. Offering his condolences to the deceased’s family, the managing executive of the park, Glenn Phillips, said: “Entering Kruger National Park illegally and on foot is not wise.” “It holds many dangers and this incident is evidence of that.”
Mr Phillips further added to his statement saying that it was sad to see the daughters of the man “mourning the loss of their father, and worse still, only being able to recover very little of his remains.”

Rhinos are poached for their high-quality horns and even higher black market demand for the same. People run this business illegally and the trade is nothing but illicit. This was nature’s way of putting it the other way round, it is not only deadly for the animals, but for the humans who put their lives at risk for a horn which costs $9000 per pound. The money is more, hence people get into it, but nothing is worth the life of a human being.
