Odisha: A man named Siddheswar Jena of Mahisamunda village was bitten by a poisonous snake and taken to GK Khattar hospital for treatment where the doctors declared him brought dead.
While the doctors informed Thakurmunda police about the incident, the parents of the deceased called a tantrik and begged him to bring their son back to life.
While the police were on their way, the tantrik performed an act that involved hitting the dead body with a branch of the neem tree, assuring the family that he will bring him back to life. Everybody in the hospital, the attendants and the staff were surprised to see such an act.
The police arrived after half an hour and the tantrik sensing trouble fled from the spot.
“After inquiring into the matter, a case of unnatural death has been registered while the body has been sent for postmortem”, Thakurmunda OIC BK Das told The New Indian Express.
The black magic failed and so should everybody’s belief in it. Living in the era of technology people still don’t think rationally. These superstitious beliefs and people’s orthodox thinking can’t undo something nor can it prevent something from happening, be it death or anything else.
