Just like every other time, here we bring you a story of a 14-year old toddler, who has taught this stubborn world how to keep on living even after you die.

Somnath Shah was playing at his home when he slipped from stairs, got a hemorrhage and fractured skull. He was referred to an NHC from the private hospital where he was initially admitted to. At NHC, he was declared brain dead. The hospital authorities talked to an organization who managed to convince his parents to donate some organs of Somnath to someone in need.

As of now, his little heart beats in a 3 YO girl from Navi Mumbai named Aaradhya Yogesh Mule, who was suffering from a dilated cardiomyopathy.

“Aaradhya had been suffering from a rare heart disease known as dilated cardiomyopathy for the last one and a half years. Finding a small heart for transplant was very difficult. But thanks to the youngest cadaver donor from Surat, Somnath, Aaradhya’s life has been saved,” said Dr. Anvay Mule, the chief cardiac surgeon who carried out the heart transplant to TOI.

And his kidneys would soon put an end to the 10 years long struggles of a 15 Years Old boy from Deesa, Banaskantha against renal failure.

Somnath’s father, Sunil Shah, told TOI: “My wife and I prayed a lot for a son after getting our first daughter four years ago. God was gracious to bless us with a son last year. But we never thought he would leave us so early. So what if we have lost him? He still lives in Aaradhya. After his last rites, we will go to Mumbai to meet the girl.”

When a loved one passes away, we lose our minds and never delay to destroy his earthly body in a way our religion instructs us. We never give a second thought that somewhere someone could still get his life back with these organs. Don’t we have a huge lesson to learn from this tiny divine soul?
