Atiq Ahmed, the gangster facing at least 70 cases against him including the murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal in 2005 in Allahabad, his men reportedly abducted a UP real estate businessman and snatched his SUV.

Mohit Jaiswal, the realtor filed an FIR and mentioned that he was taken to Deoria Jail on December 26, around 300 km away from the state’s capital.
Based on the complaint, it was known that Jaiswal was assaulted and forced to sign over property worth Rs 48 crore by Ahmed, his son Umar and other associates.

Along with Ahmed, Jaiwal also took names of other people in the FIR, including Ahmed’s son Umar, Atiq’s associates Farooque, Zaki Ahmed, Jafar Ullah, Ghulam Sarvar and 10-12 unidentified people.
fter the complaint was made, the Police caught hold of two of Ahmed’s aides from Gomti Nagar and managed to get the possession of the car as well.


As per reports, several charges including attempt to murder were slapped at the Krishna Nagar police station in Lucknow, said police. “Mohit, who deals in the real-estate business, claims that when he reached the jail barrack where Atiq was lodged, his son and 10-12 unidentified persons were already present there. On Atiq’s orders, his associates assaulted him following which his two fingers of the right hand were fractured. He also suffered injuries on his back,” Krishna Nagar police station SHO, Yash Kant Singh said.

Recalling the last two year’s incidents, Mohit told the Police that Ahmed, through his associates, demanded “extortion money” and warned him of “dire consequences” if not given so. He also mentioned that he was continuously threatened by Farooque and Zaki from the last four months for extortion money.
